In the late ’90s, Mansun carved out their own corner of British music with albums like ‘Attack Of The Grey Lantern’ (a UK No.1), ‘Six’ & ‘Little Kix’ – works that built a loyal & enduring cult following with Draper at the heart of the chaos. Nearly three decades later, he’s revisiting that world & meeting his younger self across the years.

From the eerie calm of “Dark Mavis” to the brutal honesty of “I Can Only Disappoint U”, Draper approaches the 11 songs of ‘Mansun Retold’ like unfinished business that meant one thing then & another entirely now. ‘Mansun Retold’ is Draper ‘s most sonically ambitious solo project to date.

“I picked some of my favourite songs that I had written during my time in Mansun, ones that I also felt could be interpreted by a full unplugged acoustic band & reimagined in a more mature way for a new audience as well as existing fans.”
